Phil's World Pub Guides - Suffolk, UK

Pub Comments Location
BECCLES
Bear and Bells A nice traditionally decorated two-sided interior plus a courtyard. Excellent real ale and the menu looks good.

Old Market
BURY SAINT EDMUNDS
Nutshell This splendid pub claims to be the smallest in Europe, and it's certainly a lot smaller than the one in Southport with a similar claim. Excellent ales from the local Greene King brewery.
Last visited June 2006.
The Traverse
EAST BERGHOLT
Hare and Hounds A nicely preserved but slightly neglected country pub with two bars. Excellent food. Large beer garden. Decent beer including Adnams Bitter and Broadside, and Moorlands.
Last visited January 1999.
