Excellent two bar pub in a fine 18th century building. The interior is not genuine and has been remodelled a number of times. Enormous beer garden and bowling green. Food lunch and early evenings, all day Sunday. In 2005 the pub changed from a Burtonwood house to a Banks house.

A large pub very nicely decorated and very popular on Friday nights. Lunch menu looks good.

| Half Way House | Stones, Worthington / Carling | This very large two bar pub retains some original 30s features including some nice leaded glass. Very popular with the local student population. Toby Carvery. Quiz
