| Copple House | Trophy / Heineken | A two room pub with rather up market nice decor which the customers don't live up to. Unusual to see Trophy as the only bitter.

Tetley / 1664, Becks, Carlsberg, San Miguel | Pleasant modern decor in this large opened out pub aiming (unsuccessfully when I visited at Saturday lunchtime) for the food market with a standard pub menu that looks good value. Two handpumps not in use.

| Foresters | Worthington / Carling, Foster's | A standard plain "Oak Lodges" one bar flat house, busy with friendly regulars.

| Grey Chaser (Chaser) | John Smith's / Carling, Carlsberg, Foster's | The Chaser was a "Mr Q's" branded pub when I visited in 1998. The lounge side was pleasant enough with four pool tables (One red, one blue and two green baize). I'm told it has changed hands a number of times since then, as well as changing its name. The Grey Chaser is a plain well cared for two bar pub, quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Function room at the rear.

| Prince George | John Smith's, Tetley / Carling, Foster's | In 1998 I described this as a slightly tatty two bar boozer. Revisiting in 2010 I found it was spotless and well cared for, with a well-done recent redecoration. Both sides were deserted on a Saturday afternoon, custom consisting of one regular plus me.
