Bay Horse	Bass, Worthington	The interior of this large carvery-oriented pub is very nicely done plastic traditional. A rare touch of originality is provided by the pictures on the walls which are almost all humerous, ranging from seaside postcard cartoons to stills from Carry On films. I'm always a little worried in pubs with just one real ale, but the Bass was perfect. Nice beer garden. Last visited 2004.	Church Road / School Lane
Cross House Inn	guests, Boddingtons / Carlsberg, Heineken	No smoking throughout this large partly knocked through pub/restaurant, traditionally decorated with lots of wood panelling. Last visited 2004.	Three Tuns Lane / Duke Street
Freshfield Hotel	various	Very nice (fake?) antique decor with bare bricks and rough plaster, and wood and stone floor. Twelve real ales on when I visited - sadly I didn't have time to try all of them! Last visited 2004.	Massams Lane / Rimmer's Avenue
Grapes	Boddingtons, Tetley / 4X, Carling, Stella	Nice modern decor in this enormous open empty two-sided pub. Last visited 2004.	Green Lane / Ryeground Lane

Pinewoods	Cains, Directors, Theakston, John Smith's / 1664, Foster's	A late 60s pub, I think, with a pleasant open light interior. The menu looks good. Last visited August 2006.	Wicks Green / Harington Road
Railway	Tetley / 4X, Carlsberg	Very large two-bar pub, lounge nicely decorated. Popular with walkers on the Coastal Walk. I'm told it has been 'done up' since my visit. Last visited 1998.	Formby station
