The interior of this large carvery-oriented pub is very nicely done plastic traditional. A rare touch of originality is provided by the pictures on the walls which are almost all humerous, ranging from seaside postcard cartoons to stills from Carry On films. I'm always a little worried in pubs with just one real ale, but the Bass was perfect. Nice beer garden.

No smoking throughout this large partly knocked through pub/restaurant, traditionally decorated with lots of wood panelling.

Very nice (fake?) antique decor with bare bricks and rough plaster, and wood and stone floor. Twelve real ales on when I visited - sadly I didn't have time to try all of them!

A late 60s pub, I think, with a pleasant open light interior. The menu looks good.

Very large two-bar pub, lounge nicely decorated. Popular with walkers on the Coastal Walk. I'm told it has been 'done up' since my visit.
