I was startled to find this place packed at 6pm on a Thursday, possibly due to two birthday parties. Most people seemed to be dining. Standard modern pub decor in a large 1970s building with a two sided interior, the smaller room was closed.

| Hunts Cross Hotel | John Smith's, Tetley / Carling, Foster's, San Miguel | Rather tatty in 1998 but very nicely done out when I returned in 2010. One large open room round the counter.

| New York | Caffrey's, Stones, Worthington / Carling | Apart from two murals (mostly obscured by brewery publicity) there's not much New York theming to be seen in this large open one room bar in the shopping centre. DJ Friday and Saturday night with a 00.00 licence.
