| New York | Worthington / Carling | This nicely done out open and airy one room bar with a slight American theme has bare brick walls and a wooden floor. Situated next door to Yates's it captures the customers who want a lower noise level! The fans are fun. LSTV.

A classic 50s (or 30s ?) brick building with ceramic panels, and inside the decor looks original, although presumably refurbished and certainly beautifully looked after. This style of pub is one of my favourites, it's a shame there's so few left in original condition like this one. Excellent real ales. Last visited December 2009. |
